ashvamedhasahasram cha satyam cha tulaya dhritam
ashvamedhasahasrad dhi satyam eva vishishyate
अश्वमेधसहस्रं च सत्यं च तुलया धृतम्।
अश्वमेधसहस्राद्धि सत्यमेव विशिष्यते॥
Put a thousand grand horse-sacrifices on one side of the scale and truth on the other — truth alone outweighs the thousand sacrifices.
