vyadhitasy-aushadham pathyam neerujasya kim aushadhaih
दरिद्रान्भर कौन्तेय मा प्रयच्छेश्वरे धनम्।
व्याधितस्यौषधं पथ्यं नीरुजस्य किमौषधैः॥
Support the poor, O son of Kunti; do not give wealth to those already rich. Medicine helps the sick; what use is medicine to someone who is healthy?

वहाँ दो जहाँ सच में फ़र्क पड़े। जिनके पास बहुत है, उन्हें देने से कुछ नहीं बदलता, पर ज़रूरतमंद की थोड़ी मदद भी जीवन बदल सकती है।
