Chanakya Niti 7.3 meaning
santoshamrita-triptanam yat sukham shantir eva cha
na cha tad dhanalubdhanam itash chetash cha dhavatam
सन्तोषामृततृप्तानां यत्सुखं शान्तिरेव च ।
न च तद्धनलुब्धानामितश्चेतश्च धावताम् ॥
The happiness and peace enjoyed by those satisfied with the nectar of contentment are never found by those greedy for wealth, running here and there.
What it means
Chasing more never ends, and it eats your peace. Contentment doesn't mean giving up goals; it means enjoying what you have while you work. That inner calm is worth more than any bonus.हिंदी में अर्थ
संतोष रूपी अमृत से तृप्त लोगों को जो सुख और शांति मिलती है, वह धन के लालच में इधर-उधर भागने वालों को कभी नहीं मिलती।
ज़्यादा की दौड़ कभी ख़त्म नहीं होती और सुकून छीन लेती है। संतोष का मतलब लक्ष्य छोड़ना नहीं, जो है उसका आनंद लेते हुए आगे बढ़ना है।
