Chanakya Niti 7.1 meaning
arthanasham manastapam grihe dushcharitani cha
vanchanam ch-apamanam cha matiman na prakashayet
अर्थनाशं मनस्तापं गृहे दुश्चरितानि च ।
वञ्चनं चापमानं च मतिमान्न प्रकाशयेत् ॥
A wise person does not reveal a loss of money, inner pain, troubles at home, being cheated, or being insulted.
What it means
Not everything should be shared publicly. Broadcasting losses, family issues or humiliations often invites gossip, pity or exploitation. Confide in a trusted few, and handle the rest with quiet dignity.हिंदी में अर्थ
बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति धन की हानि, मन का दुख, घर की बुरी बातें, ठगी और अपमान को दूसरों के सामने प्रकट नहीं करता।
हर बात सबको बताने की नहीं होती। नुकसान, घर की बातें या अपमान खुलकर बताने से चुगली, दया या फ़ायदा उठाने वाले आते हैं। कुछ भरोसेमंद लोगों से ही मन की बात कहो।
