Chanakya Niti 14.14 meaning
prastavasadrisham vakyam prabhavasadrisham priyam
atmashaktisamam kopam yo janati sa panditah
प्रस्तावसदृशं वाक्यं प्रभावसदृशं प्रियम्।
आत्मशक्तिसमं कोपं यो जानाति स पण्डितः॥
Truly wise is the one who knows how to speak words that suit the occasion, offer kindness in proportion to their means, and keep their anger within the limits of their own strength.

सच्चा समझदार वही है जो मौके के मुताबिक बात करना, अपनी हैसियत के मुताबिक भलाई करना, और अपनी ताकत के हिसाब से ही गुस्सा करना जानता है।
तीन बातों में समझदारी: बोलने से पहले माहौल समझो, उतना दो जितना सच में दे सकते हो, और ऐसा गुस्सा मत करो जिसकी कीमत चुकाना तुम्हारे बस में न हो।
