Srimad Bhagavatam 7.7.52 meaning
na danam na tapo n-ejya na shaucham na vratani cha
preeyatemalaya bhaktya harir anyad vidambanam
न दानं न तपो नेज्या न शौचं न व्रतानि च।
प्रीयतेऽमलया भक्त्या हरिरन्यद्विडम्बनम्॥
Not charity, not austerity, not sacrifice, not purity, not vows please Hari. He is pleased by pure, sincere devotion. Everything else is just a show.
What it means
Outward religious acts mean little without a sincere heart. God isn't impressed by display, only by genuine love. Ask whether your practice is for show or from the heart.हिंदी में अर्थ
न दान, न तप, न यज्ञ, न शुद्धता, न व्रत, इनसे हरि प्रसन्न नहीं होते। वे निर्मल भक्ति से प्रसन्न होते हैं। बाकी सब दिखावा है।
सच्चे दिल के बिना बाहरी धार्मिक काम बेमानी हैं। भगवान दिखावे से नहीं, सच्चे प्रेम से प्रसन्न होते हैं। सोचो, तुम्हारी साधना दिखाने के लिए है या दिल से।
