griheetv-apeendriyair arthan yo na dveshti na hrishyati
vishnor mayam idam pashyan sa vai bhagavatottamah
गृहीत्वापीन्द्रियैरर्थान्यो न द्वेष्टि न हृष्यति।
विष्णोर्मायामिदं पश्यन्स वै भागवतोत्तमः॥
One who experiences the objects of the senses yet neither hates nor gets excited by them, seeing this whole world as the Lord's play of maya, is the highest devotee.
What it means
You do not have to run away from the world. Enjoy and use what comes, but without craving or disgust. A steady heart in the middle of ordinary life is real spiritual maturity.हिंदी में अर्थ
जो इंद्रियों से विषयों को ग्रहण करते हुए भी न उनसे द्वेष करता है, न उनमें उछलता है, और इस संसार को विष्णु की माया समझता है, वही सर्वश्रेष्ठ भक्त है।
संसार से भागने की ज़रूरत नहीं। जो मिले उसका उपयोग करें, पर लालसा या घृणा के बिना। साधारण जीवन के बीच स्थिर हृदय ही सच्ची आध्यात्मिक परिपक्वता है।
