Srimad Bhagavatam 11.14.14 meaning
na parameshthyam na mahendradhishnyam na sarvabhaumam na rasadhipatyam
na yogasiddheer apunarbhavam va mayy arpitatm-echchati mad vin-anyat
न पारमेष्ठ्यं न महेन्द्रधिष्ण्यं न सार्वभौमं न रसाधिपत्यम्।
न योगसिद्धीरपुनर्भवं वा मय्यर्पितात्मेच्छति मद्विनान्यत्॥
One who has given himself to me desires nothing but me: not the position of Brahma, not Indra's throne, not rule over the earth or the underworlds, not mystic powers, not even freedom from rebirth.
What it means
Pure love wants the beloved, not rewards. When devotion is genuine, even the grandest prizes lose their glitter. This is love for its own sake.हिंदी में अर्थ
जिसने स्वयं को मुझे अर्पित कर दिया है, वह मेरे सिवा कुछ नहीं चाहता: न ब्रह्मा का पद, न इंद्र का सिंहासन, न पृथ्वी या पाताल का राज्य, न योग-सिद्धियाँ, न ही मोक्ष।
शुद्ध प्रेम प्रिय को चाहता है, इनाम को नहीं। जब भक्ति सच्ची हो, तो सबसे बड़े पुरस्कार भी फीके लगते हैं। यह प्रेम के लिए प्रेम है।
