Srimad Bhagavatam 1.8.26 meaning

janmaishvaryashrutashreebhir edhamanamadah puman naivarhaty-abhidhatum vai tvam akinchanagocharam

A person swollen with pride over high birth, wealth, learning and beauty cannot even sincerely call your name, for you are easily reached only by those who have nothing.

What it means
Status, money and talent can quietly build a wall around the heart. When we feel we need nothing, we stop reaching out. Humility keeps the door to grace open.

Spoken by Kunti.
