tvam apy adabhrashruta vishrutam vibhoh samapyate yena vidam bubhutsitam prakhyahi duhkhair muhur arditatmanam sankleshanirvanam ushanti n-anyatha

You who are deeply learned, describe the glories of the Lord, which satisfy everything the wise wish to know. For people tormented again and again by suffering, the wise say there is no other way to end their pain.

What it means
Narada urges Vyasa to write for hurting people, not just scholars. The best gift of knowledge is comfort. If you know something that eases pain, sharing it simply is a duty.

Spoken by Narada.
