Srimad Bhagavatam 1.18.7 meaning
nanudveshti kalim samrat saranga iva sarabhuk
kushalany-ashu sidhyanti netarani kritani yat
The emperor did not hate Kali, for like a bee he took only the essence. In this age, good deeds bear fruit quickly, while bad intentions do not bear fruit until acted upon.
What it means
Even a dark age has a silver lining: good effort pays off quickly. Instead of only complaining about the times, look for what is still good in them and use it.
Spoken by Suta.
