Bhagavad Gita 8.19 meaning
bhootagramah sa evayam bhootva bhootva praleeyate
ratry-agamevashah partha prabhavaty-ahar-agame
Partha, this same multitude of beings comes into being again and again, dissolving helplessly when night arrives and emerging again when day begins.
What it means
Beings rise and fall in cycles they cannot control. That helplessness is humbling. It invites us to hold life loosely, enjoying it fully while remembering we are part of something much bigger. How it helps in real life
- In grief: Your startup rose and fell in three years? See it as a natural cycle; hold your next venture lightly and enjoy the ride fully.
- When you feel alone: Watching old friends drift away as life changes? Accept the cycle gently, and reach out to one of them this week anyway.
Spoken by Krishna.
