Bhagavad Gita 4.40 meaning
ajnash chashraddadhanash cha sanshayatma vinashyati
nayam lokosti na paro na sukham sanshayatmanah
The ignorant, the faithless and the one consumed by doubt are ruined. For the person full of doubt, there is neither this world nor the next, nor any happiness.
What it means
Healthy questioning helps you grow, but endless doubt paralyses you. If you trust nothing and commit to nothing, you cannot enjoy anything. At some point, choose a path and walk it wholeheartedly. How it helps in real life
- Big decisions: Researching a used car for three months and still can't decide? Pick the best of your top two this weekend and commit.
- In love & marriage: Doubting every message your partner sends? Talk openly once about what worries you, then choose to trust and stop checking.
