Bhagavad Gita · Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 4.15 meaning
evam jnatva kritam karma poorvair api mumukshubhih
kuru karm-aiva tasmat tvam poorvaih poorvataram kritam
Knowing this, even the seekers of freedom in earlier times went on acting. So you too should do your work, just as those who came before you did long ago.
What it means
Spiritual depth is not an excuse to run from responsibilities. The wise before us kept working, just without selfish grasping. You can follow that example in your job, home and community.
Spoken by Krishna.
