Bhagavad Gita 3.4 meaning
na karmanam anarambhan naishkarmyam purushoshnute
na cha sannyasanad eva siddhim samadhigachchati
A person does not become free from action simply by never starting any work, nor does anyone reach perfection merely by giving things up.
What it means
Avoiding work isn't the same as being free. Quitting everything doesn't automatically make you wise. Inner freedom comes from how you act, not from refusing to act at all.How it helps in real life
- At work: Thinking of quitting your job to 'find yourself' in Rishikesh? Make sure you're running toward something, not just away from work.
- Phone & habits: Did a digital detox but feel no calmer? Freedom isn't just deleting apps; choose how you'll actually use that free hour.
Spoken by Krishna.
