Bhagavad Gita 18.72 meaning
kachchid etach chrutam partha tvay-aikagrena chetasa
kachchid ajnanasammohah pranashtas te dhananjaya
Have you heard all this with a focused mind, Arjuna? Has your confusion, born of ignorance, now been destroyed?
What it means
A good teacher checks in: did it land? Krishna cares whether Arjuna actually understood, not just whether the words were spoken. Real communication ends with listening to the other person. How it helps in real life
- At work: After explaining a task to your team, ask them to repeat it in their own words instead of just asking 'any questions?'
- As a parent: After helping your kid with homework, ask them to explain it back to you, so you know it actually landed.
Spoken by Krishna.
