Bhagavad Gita 18.67 meaning
idam te natapaskaya nabhaktaya kadachana
na chashushrooshave vachyam na cha mam yobhyasooyati
This should never be told to one who lacks self-discipline, who has no devotion, who does not wish to listen, or who resents me.
What it means
Deep wisdom lands only where there is openness. Forcing your beliefs on someone who is not ready helps no one. Share what matters with those who genuinely want to listen. How it helps in real life
- With family: Your uncle mocks your choices in the family WhatsApp group. Skip the long rebuttals; save your thoughts for people who actually ask.
- With friends: A friend keeps dismissing your meditation habit. Stop preaching about it; share only if they ever get curious and ask.
Spoken by Krishna.
