Bhagavad Gita 17.1 meaning
ye shastravidhim utsrijya yajante shraddhay-anvitah
tesham nishtha tu ka krishna sattvam aho rajas tamah
ये शास्त्रविधिमुत्सृज्य यजन्ते श्रद्धयान्विताः।
तेषां निष्ठा तु का कृष्ण सत्त्वमाहो रजस्तमः॥
Krishna, what about those who set aside the rules of scripture but still worship with faith? Is their state one of goodness, passion or darkness?
What it means
Arjuna asks a very modern question: what if someone has sincere faith but does not follow the rulebook? Krishna's answer will show that the quality of our faith matters more than its outer form.हिंदी में अर्थ

अर्जुन बहुत आज का सवाल पूछते हैं: अगर किसी की श्रद्धा सच्ची है पर वह नियम नहीं मानता, तो? कृष्ण का जवाब बताएगा कि श्रद्धा का स्वभाव उसके बाहरी रूप से ज़्यादा मायने रखता है।
