Bhagavad Gita 13.28 meaning
samam sarveshu bhooteshu tishthantam parameshvaram
vinashyatsv-avinashyantam yah pashyati sa pashyati
One who sees the Supreme Lord present equally in all beings, the undying within the dying, truly sees.
What it means
Bodies fade, but something in every being does not. Real vision means seeing that lasting spark equally in a friend, a stranger, or someone you dislike. How it helps in real life
- When you are angry: Your neighbour's loud parties drive you mad. Before complaining, remember the same spark lives in him, and talk to him politely face-to-face.
- In grief: Sitting beside your grandmother in the ICU, her body frail. Hold her hand and remember something in her doesn't fade.
Spoken by Krishna.
