Bhagavad Gita 10.42 meaning
athava bahunaitena kim jnatena tavarjuna
vishtabhyaham idam kritsnam ekanshena sthito jagat
But Arjuna, what use is all this detail to you? With just a single fraction of myself, I support this entire universe.
What it means
Lists can only go so far. The real point is simple: everything rests on one source. Grasp that, and you don't need to memorise every detail. How it helps in real life
- Studies & exams: Overwhelmed by a 500-page textbook before finals? First grasp the one core idea of each chapter; the details will settle around it.
- Big decisions: Comparing twenty phone models for weeks? Decide the one thing you need most, pick a phone that does it, and stop researching.
Spoken by Krishna.
