Bhagavad Gita 10.15 meaning
svayam evatmanatmanam vettha tvam purushottama
bhootabhavana bhootesha devadeva jagatpate
Only you know yourself through yourself, O Supreme Person, source and Lord of all beings, God of gods, master of the universe.
What it means
Some things can only be known from the inside. The deepest truth about anyone, including ourselves, comes through quiet inner experience, not through labels or outside description. How it helps in real life
- At work: People at office keep calling you the quiet one. Instead of believing their label, journal for ten minutes tonight about who you really are.
- Big decisions: Relatives say engineering suits you, but you dream of design. Spend a quiet evening asking yourself what you actually love doing.
Spoken by Arjuna.
