Ashtavakra Gita 3.11 meaning
mayamatram idam vishvam pashyan vigatakautukah
api sannihite mrityau katham trasyati dheeradheeh
Seeing this world as mere illusion and having lost his restless curiosity about it, how could a person of steady mind be terrified even when death is near?
What it means
Fear of death grows with how tightly we cling to the world's show. When you hold life lightly, seeing its passing nature, you can face endings, even your own, with more calm and less dread.
Spoken by Ashtavakra.
