Ashtavakra Gita · Chapter 14
Ashtavakra Gita 14.1 meaning
prakritya shoonyachitto yah pramadad bhavabhavanah
nidrito bodhita iva ksheenasansmarano hi sah
One whose mind is naturally empty of thoughts, who thinks of things only by chance, is like someone woken from sleep; the memories of worldly life have faded.
What it means
Like a dream that loses its grip once you wake up, old dramas lose power when the mind is quiet. You still remember them, but they no longer run your day.
Spoken by Janaka.
