tumako nishidin sevat, hari vishnu vidhata
तुमको निशिदिन सेवत, हरि विष्णु विधाता॥
Lord Vishnu and Brahma the creator serve you day and night.

uma, rama, brahmanee, tum hee jaga-mata
उमा, रमा, ब्रह्माणी, तुम ही जग-माता।
You are Uma, Rama and Brahmani; you are the mother of the world.

soorya-chandrama dhyavat, narad rishi gata
सूर्य-चन्द्रमा ध्यावत, नारद ऋषि गाता॥
The sun and moon meditate on you, and the sage Narada sings your praise.

durga roop niranjanee, sukh sampatti data
दुर्गा रूप निरंजनी, सुख सम्पत्ति दाता।
In your pure form as Durga, you give happiness and wealth.

jo koee tumako dhyavat, riddhi-siddhi dhan pata
जो कोई तुमको ध्यावत, ऋद्धि-सिद्धि धन पाता॥
Whoever meditates on you gains prosperity, success and wealth.

tum patala-nivasinee, tum hee shubhadata
तुम पाताल-निवासिनी, तुम ही शुभदाता।
You dwell even in the netherworld, and you alone give good fortune.

karma-prabhava-prakashinee, bhavanidhi kee trata
कर्म-प्रभाव-प्रकाशिनी, भवनिधि की त्राता॥
You reveal the power of our actions and carry us across life's ocean.

jis ghar men tum rahateen, sab sadgun ata
जिस घर में तुम रहतीं, सब सद्गुण आता।
In the home where you live, every virtue comes to stay.

sab sambhav ho jata, man naheen ghabarata
सब सम्भव हो जाता, मन नहीं घबराता॥
Everything becomes possible there, and the mind is never anxious.

tum bin yajna na hote, vastra na koee pata
तुम बिन यज्ञ न होते, वस्त्र न कोई पाता।
Without you no sacred rites could happen, and no one would have clothes.

khana-pan ka vaibhav, sab tumase ata
खान-पान का वैभव, सब तुमसे आता॥
All the richness of food and drink comes from you.

shubha-gun mandir sundar, ksheerodadhi-jata
शुभ-गुण मन्दिर सुन्दर, क्षीरोदधि-जाता।
Beautiful home of all good qualities, you were born from the ocean of milk.

ratna chaturdash tum bin, koee naheen pata
रत्न चतुर्दश तुम बिन, कोई नहीं पाता॥
Without you, no one could obtain the fourteen treasures of the ocean.

mahalakshmee jee kee aratee, jo koee nar gata
महालक्ष्मी जी की आरती, जो कोई नर गाता।
