ॐ जय जगदीश हरे, स्वामी जय जगदीश हरे।
Glory to you, Hari, Lord of the universe; glory to you, my Lord.

bhakta janon ke sankat, das janon ke sankat,
भक्त जनों के संकट, दास जनों के संकट,
The troubles of your devotees, the troubles of your servants,

kshan men door kare
क्षण में दूर करे॥
you take away in a single moment.

jo dhyave phal pave, duhkh binase man ka,
जो ध्यावे फल पावे, दुःख बिनसे मन का,
Whoever meditates on you is rewarded, and the sorrow of the mind fades.

svamee duhkh binase man ka
स्वामी दुःख बिनसे मन का।
O Lord, the sorrow of the mind fades away.

sukh sampatti ghar ave, kashta mite tan ka
सुख सम्पत्ति घर आवे, कष्ट मिटे तन का॥
Happiness and wealth come home, and the pain of the body is wiped away.

mata-pita tum mere, sharan gahoon main kisakee,
मात-पिता तुम मेरे, शरण गहूँ मैं किसकी,
You are my mother and father; whose shelter should I seek?

svamee sharan gahoon main kisakee
स्वामी शरण गहूँ मैं किसकी।
O Lord, whose shelter should I seek but yours?

tum bin aur na dooja, as karoon main jisakee
तुम बिन और न दूजा, आस करूँ मैं जिसकी॥
Without you there is no one else in whom I could place my hope.

tum pooran paramatma, tum antaryamee,
तुम पूरण परमात्मा, तुम अन्तर्यामी,
You are the complete Supreme Soul; you live within every heart.

svamee tum antaryamee
स्वामी तुम अन्तर्यामी।
O Lord, you know what lies within every heart.

parabrahma parameshvar, tum sab ke svamee
पारब्रह्म परमेश्वर, तुम सब के स्वामी॥
You are the transcendent Brahman, the Supreme God, the master of all.

tum karuna ke sagar, tum palanakarta,
तुम करुणा के सागर, तुम पालनकर्ता,
You are an ocean of compassion; you sustain and protect everyone.

स्वामी तुम पालनकर्ता।
O Lord, you are the one who sustains us all.

main moorakh khal kamee, main sevak tum svamee,
मैं मूरख खल कामी, मैं सेवक तुम स्वामी,
I am foolish, wicked and full of desire; I am your servant, you are my master.

kripa karo bharta
कृपा करो भर्ता॥
Shower your grace on me, O my sustainer.

tum ho ek agochar, sabake pranapati,
तुम हो एक अगोचर, सबके प्राणपति,
You are the One beyond the senses, the lord of every life.

svamee sabake pranapati
स्वामी सबके प्राणपति।
O Lord, you are the master of every living breath.

kis vidhi miloon dayamay, tumako main kumati
किस विधि मिलूँ दयामय, तुमको मैं कुमति॥
O merciful one, how can a foolish person like me ever reach you?

deenabandhu dukhaharta, thakur tum mere,
दीनबन्धु दुखहर्ता, ठाकुर तुम मेरे,
Friend of the humble and remover of sorrow, you are my master.

svamee rakshak tum mere
स्वामी रक्षक तुम मेरे।
O Lord, you alone are my protector.

apane hath uthao, apane sharan lagao,
अपने हाथ उठाओ, अपने शरण लगाओ,
Raise your hand in blessing and take me into your shelter.

dvar pada tere
द्वार पड़ा तेरे॥
I lie waiting at your door, Lord.

vishaya-vikar mitao, pap haro deva,
विषय-विकार मिटाओ, पाप हरो देवा,
Wipe away my worldly cravings and flaws; take away my sins, O God.

svamee pap haro deva
स्वामी पाप हरो देवा।
O Lord God, please take away all my sins.

shraddha-bhakti badhao, santan kee seva
श्रद्धा-भक्ति बढ़ाओ, सन्तन की सेवा॥
Increase my faith and devotion, and my service to holy people.

tan man dhan sab kuch hai tera,
तन मन धन सब कुछ है तेरा,
Body, mind and wealth, everything I have is yours.

svamee sab kuch hai tera
स्वामी सब कुछ है तेरा।
O Lord, everything I have belongs to you.

tera tujhako arpan, kya lage mera
तेरा तुझको अर्पण, क्या लागे मेरा॥
I offer you what is already yours; what part of it is mine?
