aratee keejai hanuman lala kee
आरती कीजै हनुमान लला की।
Let us offer the aarti to our beloved Hanuman,

dushta dalan raghunath kala kee
दुष्ट दलन रघुनाथ कला की॥
destroyer of the wicked and embodiment of Lord Rama's power.

jake bal se girivar kampe
जाके बल से गिरिवर कांपे।
Before his strength even the mighty mountains tremble.

roga-dosh jake nikat na jhanke
रोग-दोष जाके निकट न झांके॥
Disease and misfortune dare not even peep anywhere near him.

anjani putra mahabaladaee
अंजनि पुत्र महाबलदाई।
The son of Anjani is the giver of great strength.

santan ke prabhu sada sahaee
संतन के प्रभु सदा सहाई॥
He is the lord of saints and always comes to their aid.

de beera raghunath pathae
दे बीरा रघुनाथ पठाए।
Lord Rama gave him the betel of honour and sent him forth.

lanka jari siya sudhi lae
लंका जारि सिया सुधि लाए॥
He burned Lanka and brought back news of Sita.

He set Lanka ablaze and destroyed the demons.

सियारामजी के काज सँवारे॥
He accomplished every task for Sita and Rama.

lakshman moorchit pade sakare
लक्ष्मण मूर्छित पड़े सकारे।
When Lakshman lay unconscious on the battlefield at dawn,

ani sanjeevan pran ubare
आनि संजीवन प्राण उबारे॥
he brought the Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.

paithi patal tori jama-kare
पैठि पाताल तोरि जम-कारे।
He entered the netherworld and smashed the deadly bonds of captivity.

ahiravan kee bhuja ukhare
अहिरावण की भुजा उखारे॥
He tore off the arms of the demon Ahiravan.

baen bhuja asur dal mare
बाएं भुजा असुर दल मारे।
With his left arm he struck down the demon armies.

dahine bhuja santajan tare
दाहिने भुजा संतजन तारे॥
With his right arm he carried the saints to safety.

sura-nara-muni jan aratee utaren
सुर-नर-मुनि जन आरती उतारें।
Gods, humans and sages all perform his aarti,

jay jay jay hanuman ucharen
जय जय जय हनुमान उचारें॥
and they chant, Glory, glory, glory to Hanuman!

kanchan thar kapoor lau chaee
कंचन थार कपूर लौ छाई।
On a golden plate the camphor flame spreads its glow,

aratee karat anjana maee
आरती करत अंजना माई॥
as Mother Anjana herself performs his aarti.

jo hanumanajee kee aratee gave
जो हनुमानजी की आरती गावे।
Whoever sings this aarti of Lord Hanuman

basi baikunth param pad pave
बसि बैकुंठ परम पद पावे॥
will dwell in Vaikuntha and attain the highest state.

lank vidhvans kie raghuraee
लंक विध्वंस किए रघुराई।
Lord Rama, king of the Raghus, destroyed Lanka,

tulaseedas svamee keerti gaee
